THE FILOFAX
Now I am definitely a techy person I have a smart phone, a laptop, an ereader, and access to an ipad, desktop Pc and various other technical wizardry, and I definitely could not live without them. But I began to long wistfully for pen and paper when a colleague of mine pulled out her diary to document her life.
I have long be dissatisfied with the calender options available for my electronic devices but put up with them, I have however had a lifelong obsession with all things stationary and love a good fountain pen.
"I'LL GET MYSELF ONE OF THOSE I THOUGHT"
and that's when it all began. Every diary I picked up just did not suit me and my thoughts started to drift back to the Filofax my dad gave me in my 20's (Personnel Portland in Black) . I hunted it out thinking I would just have to by a diary insert for it but to my dismay all the inserts needed replacing and the rings weren't quite together. I turned to Google and and typed in Filofax and the rest is history.
PHILOFAXY came into my life and I persuaded my husband to buy me the A5 Lyndhurst (he finds all this very strange so not a convert yet) which is stuffed to the gills with philofaxy inserts home made dividers and washi tape. The ring issue on the Portland has disappeared strangely??? so will be put to good use and I will add to my Filofax collection despite my husband's scepticism and a lack of funds. Looking to add colour in the shape of a blue or teal Filofax small enough to act as a purse.
